CoConut Solutions Recommends WordPress (WP) and Joomla!

WP is an excellent package. Although originally developed a blogging software, it has such a fantastic community of developers, that it is now sufficient to manage the content of a simple (and this) website.

You can develop a blog at at www.wordpress.com, just register and away you go. It costs nothing, and as a resource it’s excellent, and very usable. Because it’s free it is worth having a play around with, and have a look at some of the blogs that can be accessed from the site.

However you will soon realise that what you get from WP.com is quite limited, so CoConut Solutions recommends you get the full blown WP from www.wordpress.org (This site is built using WP).

This generally means that you purchase some web-hosting, download the WP files from WP.org, and then upload then to your webspace, configure everything, and away you go. However there is an alternative…

Joomla!

In addition to WP, we are experienced with the Open Source Content Management System (CMS) Joomla! CoConut Solutions has developed sites based on Joomla!, and although slightly more complex system, it provides our clients with ultimate freedom in website design and layout.
